Referral Criteria

Any patient with a neurological problem requiring assessment for transfer/safe discharge can be referred.  Patients with a head injury and any other patient elsewhere in the hospital, with an acute neurological event can also be referred.

Referral Pathway

The therapist visits all the above wards on a daily basis and accepts verbal referrals from the multidisciplinary teams.

Other wards should phone number 4306 to refer patients to this service.
