Referral Criteria

Children with neurological conditions, syndromes, development co-ordination disorder, progressive neurological / neuromuscular disorders.

Referral Pathway

Referrals are taken from GP's, Consultants, Registrars, and Regional physiotherapy teams (for example the Regional Neuromuscular Team in Leeds).

Additional Information

Treatment may be offered to children individually or in groups in various settings.
Training may be offered to educational staff in mainstream schools.
Physiotherapists work within the multidisciplinary team.
Physiotherapists may be asked by the school to write a report or attend the Annual Review.
