Referral Criteria

Diagnosis of Ankylosing Spondylitis

Referral Pathway

Patients should be discussed with the lead clinician. If accepted the patient will then be transferred to Rheumatology for assessment then reviewed on a six monthly monitoring system.

Additional Information

Patients under the care of the Consultant Rheumatologist will be assessed annually in the combined Consultant and Physiotherapy AS Review Clinic.

Patients should be registered with the Rheumatology Consultant by their GP, if appropriate.
