Wards F2, F5 and F6

Referral Criteria

Any patient with neurological or mobility problems requiring rehabilitation may be referred.

Referral Pathway

F6 accepts transfers from wards 24, 1,3, 6, 9 and the orthopaedic service as long as the patient is able to undertake and benefit from a period of rehabilitation.
F5 accepts transfers from older people services at the BRI in general.
The therapist attends the wards daily and picks up verbal referrals for patients requiring  rehabilitation.
