Types of Wheelchairs

WheelchairStandard

  • Standard wheelchairs are from a range normally held in stock by the wheelchair service.
  • These will be supplied following receipt of a referral (see referral criteria) and subject to assessment where necessary.

Non-Standard

  • This range of equipment will only be supplied following assessment by a wheelchair therapist.

Special Bespoke

  • This range of equipment will be ordered on an individual prescription, reflecting clinical need and following multi-disciplinary assessment.
